Internet Marketing Tips - How Transparent Are You?

How transparent are you? Yeah, I know...you're sitting there scratching your head wondering what the heck I'm talking about. Hey, let's be honest. Each of us, to some degree, are transparent. Some just hide it better than others. I'm transparent. I try to be clever about it. I practice the art of misdirection and when that doesn't work, I just try to confuse the heck out of people...just like now. Okay, all kidding aside, we are all, to a certain degree, transparent when it comes to our business. How well we hide it will determine how successful we are. Still don't know what I'm talking about? Okay...I'll spell it out.

Each one of us who is running a business online is doing so for one reason and one reason only...to make money. We are not running charities, unless of course we're running charities. Those are not the people I am addressing in this article. I'm addressing those who have a product that they are trying to sell in the hopes of making a profit. It's called capitalism and it's NOT a dirty word. Unfortunately, we need money to survive. That is a fact of life. Without it, we don't survive. However, there is a wide chasm between those who blatantly are just after your hard earned money and those who truly want to give you something in return that is going to be worth more to you than the money you parted with. Those are the people who, ultimately, are the least transparent.

But how do you get that way? Or more specifically...how do you get others to trust you? THAT is what this article is REALLY about. I'm now going to give you the absolute best way to do that, no matter what your business is.

Provide real value for very little money or even for free. I have a number of free reports in the various niches that I do business in that could easily be products worth selling for a substantial amount, but I don't. I give them away for free. Why do I do this? The answer is simple...to gain the trust of my market; to show them that if my free reports are this good then my paid products must be special. You can't do this unless you actually give them something of real value.

In my signature, you'll find one of those free reports. It won't cost you anything to look at it. Do I hope to have your business someday? Of course I do, but I have to first earn your trust. And that is what YOU must do with each and every one of your prospects in this very competitive world that we live in. Otherwise, you don't have a chance.

So how transparent are you? If very, maybe it's time to reevaluate how you're conducting your business.
